I Mis-Underestimated...

Well, I performed a bit of an undercalculation. Turns out drafting a meeting of  6 national-level and 3 global-level agencies, as well as their leaders, is time consuming. What I'm saying is that Boredroom Meeting will be glacially slow. Instead, I will substitute a (hopefully) shorter story idea. The First Starfighter   1 st Lieutenant Njeri Idowu undertakes the maiden flight of S.T.A.A.R.’s first space-capable fighter craft, the XM-01 Space-Capable Combat Flight Chassis.   I'd like your opinions on the concept for The First Starfighter. All the comment has to do is tell me how to improve it, what's typed before doesn't matter!  -   Dylan

A Smol Surprise, and Future Plans

I stalled out on Windchill, too many details Za Warudo my thinking. But I completed another S.T.A.A.R. short story in an hours long marathon. This one is called Crowd Cover. Hotel-84's Alpha team engages in pursuit of an individual suspected of collaborating with a hostile ABE species. https://www.dropbox.com/s/7l2m0sl61ek0bik/S.T.A.A.R.%20Crowd%20Cover.docx?dl=0   I think the next story will also be a breather style. I'm currently flipping between   Interview:   Oscar-89 operators interview a man about the suspected alien-involved disappearance of his family.   or Boredroom Meeting:   Mike-28 sits through a meeting of the United Nations Extraterrestrial Activity Council.     Which do you like? Comment your choice and why below, so I know what types of stories to focus on.

S.T.A.A.R.: Windchill 75% Milestone!

Sorry for the long interval since the last update, school suddenly picked up and took up my time. Yesterday and today, I made some amazing progress on Windchill. I’ve reached the 3/4ths mark, and am currently prepping for the final section. I can’t promise a fixed release date, but I can give a ballpark of around the end of the year. Thanks to those who have followed along, and those who have simply visited once or twice. You keep me motivated, and that’s wonderful! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! - Dylan

S.T.A.A.R. Safehouse Raid

S. T.A.A.R.:   Safehouse Raid   S.T.A.A.R. Central Intelligence had received intel regarding a potential infiltration cell, sending it to Central Command. Command decided that the mission was too important to send in a generalized Operations Team. They called up Sierra-63, which specialized in small scale covert operations in urban environments. Sierra-63 had three elements, two four-man, and one command element. Command Sergeant Sam Carter, a 12-year veteran, had been Sierra-63s commanding officer for five of those years. He had seen combat in several small towns and a few cities, as well as working with many Operations Teams. They had been transferred overnight via private plane, and were currently en-route to where the intel said the safehouse would be, riding inside of a Lenco BearCat LE in the local police colors.   “All elements, listen up!” he said, gesturing toward the map placed on the partition between the driver and passenger section. “This...
