What you see is a nice chunk of works by Clive Cussler. For a time I couldn't get enough of his stuff. I've read
Valhalla Rising, Corsair, Vixen 03, Inca Gold, Sahara, Black Wind, Fire Ice, Golden Buddha, and a few more. One of my favorite parts of his books is when he inserts himself into the story, usually as a plot device that keeps the characters moving forward. His series are
The Oregon Files,
The NUMA Files,
Isaac Bell Adventures,
and Fargo Adventures. He's not just a fiction writer, however. He's written five non-fiction books as well. He's also founder and current Chairman of the NUMA Advisory Board of Trustees, with his son Dirk as President. NUMA stands for National Underwater and Marine Agency, and is originally a fictional organization that employs his character Dirk Pitt in the Dirk Pitt Adventure series. NUMA has found the wrecks of the
Carpathia, Marie Celeste, the ironclad
Manassas, and the first submarine to sink an enemy vessel, the confederate submarine
H. L. Hunley.
